What does "H.L. Registered Design" mean on the inside of my antique cabinet?
We recently purchased an antique corner cabinet/armoire at an antique auction. It's an oak finish with engraving along the sides and top. On the inside, above the mirror, it has "H.L. Registered Design" on a small engraved plate. We searched around google to figure out what that meant for the value of our new piece, which is in excellent condition. Any details would be great from you antique experts!

who ever H,L is had his design registered,
with who ever,
it probably a fake,
cabinet builders don,t put there initials on metal plates,
they carve them on the bottom or burn it in,
